Pewter is the quiet achiever of the finish range. It doesn't announce itself the way brass or copper does, and it doesn't make the bold graphic statement that black makes — but it works with an extraordinary range of interiors precisely because of that restraint.
A cool grey-silver with a soft, powder-coated surface, pewter suits period properties where the warmth of brass feels too obvious and the coolness of chrome feels too modern. It also works exceptionally well in contemporary schemes where a muted metallic is preferred to a high-shine one. In neutral interiors — stone, linen, pale oak — pewter has a way of disappearing into the room in exactly the right sense.
Available in Contour, Flatline and Victorian plate styles, making it suitable for both contemporary and period applications. A full range of sockets, switches, dimmers and accessories accompanies every pewter finish.
