Bronze is the finish that interior designers reach for when they want warmth without the brightness of brass, and depth without the darkness of black. It occupies a distinctive space in the palette — earthy and substantial, with a quality that reads immediately as deliberate.
Because every plate is hand-finished, no two are precisely identical. There will be subtle variations in tone and shading — a natural consequence of working with real materials and real hands rather than automated production. We consider this a quality, not a defect. It gives the bronze range the same character that traditional hand-applied finishes have always carried.
Two bronze finishes are available, each with its own distinct character:
Medium Bronze — A warm, rich mid-tone bronze. Earthy and grounded, it works beautifully against natural materials — stone, timber, linen — and suits both contemporary and period interiors with equal ease.
Black Bronze — Deeper and more dramatic, black bronze sits at the darker end of the spectrum. In a Monarch or Trimline plate, it becomes a genuine statement: a finish chosen by someone who knew exactly what they wanted.
