Grid Switches

A grid switch lets you combine exactly the switches a room needs on one plate, rather than settling for whatever combination happens to come pre-made. Available as a plate and yolk only, or as a complete plate with switches fitted.

Grid Light Switches

Grid switches suit any room where several switches need to sit together — a row of lighting switches, or a row of 20 amp double pole switches for isolating kitchen appliances. The two shouldn't be mixed: keep 10 amp lighting switches and 20 amp DP switches on separate plates.

All of our grid switch ranges come in a selection of one to four gang switch plates. By putting a combination of two way and intermediate switches into the plates, you can create the ideal combination to suit your light switching needs.

If you are looking for 20 amp DP switches, for use on a ring circuit, you have a choice of either standard DP switches or engraved switches, for use in the kitchen.

Kitchen Grid Switches

When using our grid plates in the kitchen they can be used as either engraved or plain grid switches. The engraved switches are available with a number of different engravings, such as 'Cooker', 'Oven', 'Hob', 'Extractor'. These are used when you wish to isolate appliances from one location using 20 amp double pole switches. As they are double pole switches the switch isolates both the live and neutral.

Brass Grid Switches
